Our New President

Another Friday,… Another Week is over… Another Day to be thankful. I have another chance to see today because God allowed it. So thankful.

Message from my wonderful mum this morning:

Happy democracy day to everyone. Pls FYI.

Every night we all fight a battle of life and death. Only the winners wake up to see the following day. Thank God, you are a winner today just like me. May the river of your life flow unhindered and in the right direction, may it never turn back as it sweeps away your affliction, tribulation and adversity. Divine providence will enrich and strengthen the river of your life. Heavens will rain abundance of wealth and riches on your coast and new things will begin to happen in your life. May divine blessings, the highest grace and everlasting joy be your portion in Jesus Mighty name. Amen. Good morning. Welcome to a new promising day.

God bless
Mommy.

Today Muhammadu Buhari is being sworn in as the President of Nigeria. I pray he uses the power Nigerian citizens have bestowed on him to make tomorrow a better and brighter one for the citizens of Nigeria.

Speaking to my mum last night, she told me how PHCN have not brought light for 3 weeks… No, wait they did – two days ago for 10 minutes. It’s sad that people that are not as fortunate to have a generator or diesel to put in the generator are subjected to bathing in the dark, dressing in the dark.. LIVING in the DARK. That’s it – so many Nigerians are LIVING in perpetual darkness that today they are so unfamiliar with the light, this darkness has caused so much chaos in their homes, offices and LIFE.

I ask anyone reading this message to say a quick prayer for my country. To pray to God to remove the darkness from so many homes in Nigeria that live within their hearts.

Love,
Pamela
